A NOTE FROM THE TEAM

Kia ora whanaunga, 

Te Runanga O Kirikiriroa is part of a bigger network of whanau wellbeing agencies in Kirikiriroa. During the level 4 lock down we have seen and heard stories from whanau under extraordinary stress.  

Our challenge has been to meet the needs of our people. In doing this, a variety of groups now offer support, food, personal items and companionship.  

The Kumara Vine has been developed to make it easier for you to find those agencies web connections. If this doesn’t work for you there is the option to connect with a person and advocate by completing the form provided.  

Whanaunga wellbeing is our single focus so only provide information you are comfortable to share when completing the form.  

We will update our web information as changes happen to ensure that even at level 1, whanau can access support and assistance.   

Maata Waaka whanau wellbeing agencies and friends were created by our community to meet needs within our community and there has been no greater time for us to work together than now.  

There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about.
